The Beacon F210 is a bench-top tester built specifically for piezo common rail injectors. A piezo injector is not a coil: it is a stack that charges and discharges, so it fails in ways a resistance meter cannot see. The F210 drives the stack with a piezo pulse, measures capacitance, dynamic resistance and current, checks insulation under drive and finds the opening voltage, which is the fastest way to separate a good piezo injector from one with a cracked stack or a leaking valve.

Capacitance measurement of the piezo stack
Dynamic resistance and current measurement during the pulse
Dynamic insulation test under drive voltage
Piezo opening voltage detection
Capacitance tells you how much of the stack is still active, dynamic current shows whether the charge is actually flowing, and insulation under voltage exposes leakage that a static ohm reading misses. Opening voltage then confirms that the injector responds at the pressure the ECU expects. Together they explain the usual piezo complaints: rough idle, a cylinder that drops out when hot, and no-start after a rebuild.
At 3 kg and 24 x 20 x 13 cm the F210 works beside the test bench: pre-screening piezo injectors before they are mounted, checking a rebuilt injector before it leaves the shop, and documenting the measured values against the OEM specification for warranty cases.
The F210 is the piezo-only instrument. F200 covers solenoid injectors. F300 puts both drive modes in one unit and adds DRV valve current and resistance testing, hydraulic buffer valve testing and a bilingual interface.
No. Solenoid injectors need the induction-based drive of the F200 or F300. The F210 is dedicated to piezo stacks.
Because a piezo stack can read a normal static resistance and still leak once it is charged. The F210 measures insulation while the drive pulse is applied, which is the condition the injector sees on the engine.
No. It is an electrical instrument. Hydraulic delivery and spray testing are done on a common rail injector test bench.
Yes, the unit ships with its injector harness set, power cable and test leads.
